Seller Description

62k. miles. Manual trans and LSD transplanted from M Coupe. A/C, Heated Leather Seats, CD Player, Sport Steering Wheel.
Adult (Senior!) Owned, Gently Used, Well Cared For. Salvage Title - NOT from crash damage! Has all original BMW VIN
stickers on 'appendages.' "Salvage" due to wiring harness problem; replaced by specialist (not I.) Large cut in carpet where harness was repaired. Has been my daily driver for 40k. miles with no issues other than maintenance. Cruise control not working (why fix it
when I never use it), rear window defroster not working. Very unique (when's the last time you saw one?), reliable, FUN. Last of BMWs you can work on yourself. Needs younger driver.

The salvage title is a bummer, but this seems like a steal to me. Nice rare color combo with the exnteded elather and a 5-speed manual swap. It has a lot of miles since we last saw it which is a good sign of reliability. I don't love the wheels or black mirrors but that's an easy fix. If I didn't already have a project coupe, I'd get this one.
