Car originally belonged to doctors wife in Wilmington, NC. I purchased car for my wife's 50th birthday. We have owned the car for 13 years. Car always garage kept and almost never driven in winter or when raining. See picture showing original dealer window sticker for options and original suggested price. We are non-smokers and car is in overall excellent condition but like anything almost 20 years old not perfect. We are selling the car because we are just too old to get in and out of it anymore. Tires are probably 60% or better and comes with an extra rear tire in same condition. Hood painted and front grill pieces replaced in last month due to rock chips. Drive shaft, battery, sparkplugs, and shocks on rear hatch replaced in December 2017. High pressure ABS brake pump, valve cover gasket, and one ignition coil replaced several years ago. Heater control problem common to Z3's has been repaired and works perfectly. Has received all regular scheduled service at BMW dealerships. Seats are in good condition, with drivers seat showing some wear. Two rims have some minor scuffs which were there when we purchase car. Carfax was clean on the car when purchased and we have not had any wrecks. Passenger seat had a worn bushing on it when we purchased it and it is still this way. Causes slight movement up and back of the seat. Passenger side air bag alarm is on. Dealer says air bag would still probably work, but they would not guarantee it. Since my wife normally drove the car alone, I chose not to pursue the repair. Car is clean all over, and looks and drives great. The 2.8 double Vanos engine was the best engine offered in a non-M version of this car for this car year. The coupe version of this car is pretty rare, and I have only seen two of them on the road in the 13 years I have owned this car. These cars handle wonderfully and are fun to drive.
