My Comments

Sold 1/9/13 - All the listings were deleted. Looks like it sold.

1/8/13 Update - Added the clean Carfax report

12/28/12 Update - Price now raised to $12,991 from $11,991

12/28/12 Update - Dan was able to check it out in person. Here are his thoughts:

I went to check out that black on black 3.0 in San Rafael today. You are right, it's kind of rough. Not a disaster, but it needs some love.

The dealer is likely going to wholesale it. I tried to dissuade him, but he is on the fence.

The car is pretty dirty, and has lived its whole life in the SF bay area. Most recently (the past 5 years) in fairfax- beautiful hilly hippy land. The car has been a daily driver to SF and it shows. Lots of scratches, a pair of broken kidneys from a bump to the snout, the usual chips and dings.

Dealer says it needs front suspension work (it's worn out), oil pan gasket, front brakes, tires all around. The rims were chromed? But the coating is peeling off all over. There was a dog or two, the car had a lot of fur in it (hadn't been detailed yet) and scratches from the dog getting in and out of the back.

Pretty bad glovebox sag, and it was missing a piece of trim from below the rear passenger window.

Last owner was a girl. Ear rings and hair pins all over the place in the car.

A little wear on driver and passenger outer bolsters, but everything mechanically seemed to work fine.

No records aside from a carfax which was at least clean and consistent. First owner was a 2 year lease, 2nd owner was a couple years- both getting regular service at the local dealers but the last owner showed very little maintenance (on carfax only)

It had the original manuals and books in the glove box but no leather binder. The toolkit was absolutely complete. It started and ran fine. Smooth idle etc.

I wanted to write in case anyone local had a wholesaler license and could get in on it at a bargain. If he doesn't wholesale the car, he will raise the price because he will need to address many of the things I've just listed, but not much in the way of cosmetic, which I think it really needs a hand with.

If you buy from this dealer, it has free car washes for life and some other perks- it's one of those"no haggle" dealerships. The price is the bottom line.

12/27/12 Update - Price reduced to $11,991 from $13,991 which is better

12/21/12 Update - Added some photos. It's in kind of rough shape.

No photos or description posted yet. The VIN shows that it is black sapphire over black automatic with chrome trim. The price is a little optimstic for the mileage and automatic transmission.
