There were 105 Black Sapphires were produced and and about 10 vehicles had Red interior

I am not sure but it looks like maybe as few as five 2001s had this combination -

Any way we purchased this baby from an insurance auction - water damage - so it has a salvage title
It is a great running and very clean little Z3 coupe

negatives are:
sunroof doesn't open - very common problem with this model.
Chips and nicks on the paint of the hood.
