Seller Description

2nd owner - originally from southern Virginia. The owner took meticulous care of the car - look at the pictures. The original BMW car cover is very nice. Over $5000 was spent on a stereo for the car (this would be lower now - blue tooth stereos were new), but its fantastic with a ceiling microphone for calls, a USB and audio check.. That money doesn't include the premium, and amazing, speaker system that came with the car., it really changed the image of roadsters and coupes for the general public, A/C ice cold, All scheduled maintenance, All records, Always garaged, Custom wheels, Excellent condition, Fully loaded with all the goodies, Looks & drives great, Mostly highway miles, Must see, Never seen snow, New paint, New tires, No accidents, Non-smoker, Seats like new, Title in hand, Upgraded sound system, Very clean interior, Well maintained

Recently spent nearly $5,700 are my BMW shop in Rockville making sure everything was brand new and flawless. Updated seat caps so the seats don't move at all. 100k tune-up, all new wiring, tires are beautiful.\

The car is beautiful. I can't drive it without getting stares and I get tons of compliments. The engine in the 2001 version, mine, was used when they began making the Z4s in 2003 (3.0i). Its very fast. I ran a 13 second quarter mile at a race track in northern Maryland but from 0-60 the weight makes this thing a lightening bolt. But its really the handling the sets this car apart. Listing removed; looks like it sold

It looks like it may have been painted again. The VIN shows it was originally dakar yellow, and it was green when we last saw it in 2014. The badges have moved up the rear hatch, so I'm guessing there was another repaint to black. It's had some good recent maintenance.
