It has an AFE cold air intake installed and it has been chipped by Dinan which will need to be reflashed. Everything works on the car except the ASC light that should come on in the instrument cluster. The ASC button still functions and changes the dynamic of the cars response. Newer tires have only seen a couple of weekend trips. The paint isn't perfect, a few blemishes here and there but over all it's still in very good condition. It's not a showroom car but I'd say it's a great 5/5 car. Standing 5 feet away and the car rolling past at 5mph it'd be hard to spot any imperfections. The front bumper and wheels have aftermarket paint on them. The drivers seat is showing wear and the drivers window makes a popping sound when it closes. Those are the biggest issues. I dealt with the stain that was on the rear cargo deck and that came out better than I thought it would. The pictures should show that. Newer rear speakers. The built in tool kit is missing two of the pieces. There's a dent on the drivers side c pillar and the passenger side tailight has a crack in it but no water issue.
A true drivers car. If you're looking at this then you most likely know how rare they are. This is one of 63 with this paint and interior combination and a manual transmission as the Z3 buyers guide indicates. I've been close to selling this before and could never bring myself to do it. I love this car. This time it has to go because it might be forced to sit outside otherwise and it deserves better than what I can provide in the near future. It's been in a garage, driven periodically as it should, for the last couple years. Mostly summer weekend trips and sunny day local stuff during the winter. It's not perfect but it's still in the nice category.
I have a set of H&R lowering springs that will come with the car as well. I originally got the car from the family of the person who owned it. They didn't know anything about the car or have any of the paperwork. I have all paperwork of the work I've done to the car to make it a reliable and enjoyable car to drive daily or on occasion when the skies are clear. The car looks mean when its low but I found it went through the rear tires pretty quick and the ride quality suffered. So I installed a stock suspension with about 50k miles less than what the car has overall. This car feels like a nimble, leather clad vault on rails. Every car person should experience the raw but refined connection between the road and driver this car provides.
