Seller Description

This 2001 BMW Z3 Coupe 3.0i was purchased in 2006 by the current owner, who added 37k of the 103k miles shown. It is finished in Bright Red over Sand Beige Nappa leather, and power comes from a 3.0-liter M54 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Recent service reportedly included a brake flush, a coolant system service, a rear differential service, new tires, and an alignment. This Z3 coupe is now offered on behalf of the current owner in Alexandria, Virginia, with service receipts since 2006, factory literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Georgia title.

The exterior is finished in Hellrot II (415). The front bumper features integrated fog lights, and this example was optioned with a powered glass sunroof. The seller states that the rear bumper was repainted due to scuffs.

17″ two-piece wheels wear Sumitomo HTR A/S PO2 tires measuring 225/45 in front and 245/40 at the rear. The tires were installed in September 2019, and an alignment was performed in November 2019. Driver aids include Dynamic Stability Control.

The interior is trimmed in Sand Beige Nappa leather with heated sport seats. The center stack, shift knob, and emergency brake lever are accented with fine wood trim, and amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, an onboard computer, a Harman-Kardon sound system, heated mirrors and door locks, and an M Sport leather-wrapped steering wheel. In November 2019, the key fob batteries and rear hatch struts were replaced.

Instrumentation includes a 155-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and temperature and fuel-level gauges. The digital odometer indicates 103k miles, approximately 37k of which were added by the current owner.

The 3.0-liter M54B30 DOHC inline-six was rated from the factory at 228 horsepower. It drives the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission with a 25% locking rear differential.

A November 2019 service and multi-point inspection reportedly included replacement of the spark plugs, the power steering supply hose, and the fuel filter, a brake fluid flush, as well as services to the rear differential and cooling system.

The sale includes manufacturer’s literature, a leather literature holder, and service receipts dating back to 2006.

The Carfax report lists no accidents or other issues and shows registration and service history in New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, South Carolina, and Georgia.

It sounds like it had a long-time owner. It's also in better than average shape for the mileage. It has some wear in the center console and the glove box is sagging a little, but it's pretty clean overall. Bidding is currently at $8,250.
