Seller Description

This 2002 BMW Z3 3.0i coupe was purchased new in Germany by the seller and imported to the US in 2008 when the seller moved to South Carolina. The car is finished in black over extended Walnut Nappa leather upholstery and powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a power-operated glass sunroof, Extended Leather Package, 17″ Style 42 alloy wheels, heated power-adjustable seats, an onboard computer, air conditioning, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo with CD changer. This Z3 coupe has 102k kilometers (~64k miles) and is offered with manufacturer’s literature, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean South Carolina title in the seller’s name.

The body is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic and features a power-operated glass sunroof, integrated fog lights, flared wheel arches, a rear window wiper, front fender vents, and dual exhaust outlets. The hood was repainted in 2007, and the seller notes a dent in the roof, paint chips on the hood and front bumper, and spider cracking on the front bumper.

The 17″ Style 42 alloy wheels are wrapped in 225/45 front and 245/40 rear Firestone Firehawk tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated discs, and the car is equipped with Dynamic Stability Control.

The cabin features heated power-adjustable bucket seats trimmed in Walnut Nappa leather. Matching leather extends to the center console, lower dashboard, and door panel inserts. Amenities include air conditioning, an onboard computer, power accessories, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo with CD changer. Modifications include a bluetooth devise for handsfree calling. The seller states the trunk mounted CD changer does not work. Recent service is said to have included a replacement sunroof mechanism in 2021.

The leather-wrapped M-sport steering wheel frames a 250-km/h speedometer and a tachometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 102k kilometers (~64k miles).

The 3.0-liter M54B30 inline-six was factory rated at 225 horsepower and 214 lb-ft of torque. An oil and oil filter change was performed in 2021.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in South Carolina since the first entry in March 2008.

This is a super-interesting coupe as we have not really seen any European market cars make it over here yet. It obviously has the Euro plates, but I see some other differences from our coupes as well. It has the Euro glovebox which is pretty cool and seems to emphasize the extended leather dash even more. It also has a colored center console which was not even an option here, and I've never actually seen it before. The underside looks super clean, but it sounds like some of the paint could use some work. Bidding up to $7,000.00 so far.
