I am selling my Z3 Coupe. It will be eligible for collector plates in January 2024. It is a 1999 2.8L with metallic black with black leather interior and is a German model that I bought in Germany while living in Prague in 2015 and legally imported into Canada in 2017. It has a German VIN, a manual transmission and is stock except for:
- Sport exhaust
- Brushed aluminum centre console with analog clock
- Tonneau cover with mesh divider
- 18 inch wheels with M rims and new tires (original rims with snow tires are included)
- Tinted rear windows
- Armrest
- Daytime running lights installed by the BMW dealer to meet Canadian requirements
It does have a few things that need attention:
- Air bag light is on - codes say it’s on the driver side
- ASC/ABS warning light on
- Dent on front hood from when it was parked and someone backed into it
- A couple of rust spots on the wheel arches
- I have all of the service record since new including all of the German (and Czech) ones.
Although it is a non-M Z3 Coupe, it has M gills, M shifter knob, M steering wheel and M rims. I have the original Becker Traffic Pro radio but it doesn't seem to be working any more (I have an Android Auto one installed). I have been on the fence about selling it since it is my favourite car to drive - powerful, rear wheel drive, stiff and a lot of fun. My plan was to get it into pristine shape this year to apply for collector plates on its 25th birthday, however, my car collection is getting too big for my parking capacity.
