This is a 1999 BMW Z3 Coupe aka Clownshoe.  It's from California, and I'm the 2nd owner.  I bought it in 2023 with 86k miles.  It has a clean title/no accidents, and it has been garage kept its whole life.

For those that don't know, these are rare.  This is 1 of 2,071 to come to North America.  1 of 209 in Jet Black with a black interior.

I have done extensive maintenance and cosmetic work on it over the last 3 years, including:

- New clutch and flywheel
- New rear axles
- Restored all 4 wheels as the finish was flaking.
- New paint on the front bumper, hood, and rear bumper.
- Upgraded the headlights to LED projectors, but it will come with the factory headlights as well.
- The transmission was replaced at the time of the clutch and flywheel due to the shop damaging the transmission housing when removing it.
- The differential was replaced to fix a whining from the back end.
- Inspection was just completed in June 2026.

Known flaws:
- The window tracks need to be greased as the windows are starting to stick over the last year.
- The rear wiper doesn't work.
- The door lock actuators don't consistently work (if you unlock the drivers door the passenger door stays locked.  You just need to manually unlock the other door.)

The rear wiper and the door lock actuators have been like that since I got the car.  It's not a big deal so I left them as is.

I am going to try and sell locally for a couple of weeks before auctioning it on Cars and Bids.
