Seller Description

This is a rare 2001 BMW Z3 coupe being offered for sale. It has been in my possession for 3 1/2 years. I am very pleased with it. Only once since owning the car have I seen a similar BMW Z3 Coupe (gray w/manual) on the road. However, there are many Z3 convertibles so service and parts hasn't been an issue. It is a head turner! This Z3 handles well and is fun to drive. This car has a few paint chips, stains, etc. It could use new floor mats. There is a stain in the hatch carpet which you may see on a photo. I have a nice piece of new carpet laying over it which is apparent on another hatch photo. There is a small chip out of the front driver reflector. It is visible on the photo. Everything works with only reasonable wear and tear for a 2001. It has under 64,000 miles at this time. Check it out in person so you can be as satisfied as I have been. You may take it to a local mechanic or BMW dealer in my area if you like before bidding or purchase. It has been taken to the authorized BMW service/repair shop and all records will be included. It is not burning/leaking oil of significance. A valve cover gasket showed seep in 6/2012 but is being watched as it hasn't progressed in 10,000+ miles. The local BMW dealer estimated $294 to replace the valve cover gasket in 5/2015 but my BMW rep said it was no problem to wait. This car has no accidents. Earlier this year, I pulled up a little too far and lightly tapped a tall curb as I stopped leading to a minor repair of just the bumper cover for $261.34. I am selling this cool car because my income is down and my other vehicle is more practical for all seasons. Please don't hesitate to contact me with ?'s. Buyer pays all shipping costs which could be substantial so I recommend you drive it home. The owners manual in its original case and two keys are included. Non-smoker. Apparently the first owner had a lien on it which likely lowered its auto check score. It still has a high score which would have been even higher.

Back on the market after almost a year off. Price reduced to $14,700 and no reserve from $16,400 which is pretty good. The new photos are much better too.

Just noticed that while the VIN says chrome-line trim, the photos show wood. Interesting.

Very cool color combo and chrome-line trim as well. It seems to be all stock. I think the price is fair.
