Seller Description

1999 BMW Z3 Coupe 2.8l 5 Spd with 42,500 miles. Black on Walnut leather with heated seats, Extended Wood trim and Sunroof. By the numbers, this is 1 of 3 in this configuration of Z Coupes. Roughly 4k total Coupes built from 1999-2002 including the Ms. Not the rarest of them all, but worth mentioning.

Fun little car I've had the pleasure of driving for about 7 months. I am the 3rd owner and miles are actual, as she was stored for about 10 years by the previous owner.

New parts include - Fuel pump, fuel filter, water pump, thermostat and fresh oil change with Mobil one. Recently did a 600 mile roundtrip and breezed through traffic and the open roads without a hitch. Other items include - New seat bushings to eliminate the common rocking chair problem in the Z cars, Leather Z armrest with cup holders and 25mm H&R spacers to push the wheels flush with the rear fenders.

Have the original radio and nothing is cut, just wanted an AUX input and BT for my phone as I dont own CDs anymore. Original Z3 staggered rims are also on hand. The Genuine M Contours have relatively new Goodyear tires on them.

The downsides - She needs paint. Part of the storage was outside and the Sun did a number on the clear coat. Interior was covered and faired beautifully, but the paint suffered. That is really the only down side to the car. Runs great, drives and handles like a low mile car should. She is, however, 16 years old and unrestored.

Pictures tell more then words, so view closely and ask questions. Never got a quote for paint, I'm not going to guess.

I wouldn't hesitate to drive anywhere in the car. The hatchback rear holds more then you would expect and has the pull out cover and the safety net to separate the seats from the rear hatch area.

Have clear title in hand. Open to offers and possible trade for a diesel truck or Porsche 911, and can add cash.

As long as the ad is up, the car is For Sale. If you ask if it's still for sale, I will block your contact info. Don't need help selling, and no scams. Cash or Bank check that can be verified or sufficient time to clear. Can assist with your shipping arrangements, but will not pay your shipper. Scammers will be blocked.

Paint is the big question mark with this one, but the interior is gorgeous. Lots of recent maintenance which is perfect for a car that sat for almost 10 years. With two sets of tires, low mileage on the mechanicals, and a beautiful walnut interior, I think this is a very good deal.
