Kinda Cool!
Total Number in Cosmos Black Metallic over Extended Tanin Red with Fine Wood Extended Trim and 5-speed Manual Transmission for 1999 Model Year with a Sunroof: 1

Purchased this poor neglected z3 coupe from a mechanic in D.C. It has been a great project and daily driver for the past year. I would love to keep it but my wife's car was recently totaled and I need to sell one of my cars...

The Good (all addressed w/ less than 3k miles)
-Rear left tail light (new gasket/seal included)
-Realigned rear bumper
-Replaces trunk hatch handle seal
-New cooling system components (radiator, water pump, t-stat, t-stat -housing gasket, upper/lower radiator hoses, clutch/fan, coolant flush w/ bmw coolant)
-Both belts (A/C belt & Serpentine belt)
-Valve cover gasket (w/ grommets and spark plug seals)
-Oil filter housing gasket
-Brake light sensor
-Replaced burnt out gauge cluster bulbs
-Re-wired hatch wires (11 of 14 where pinched/separated)
-Removed rear windshield wiper (motor is still there but rear wiper was not working. gear/arm related)
-New windshield w/ new window molding
-Control Arms (left & right)
-Front Struts replaced
-Stabilizer end links
-Tie rods (inner & outer, left & right)
-New brake pads and rotors on all four corners
-Parking Brake Hardware Kit (needs to be adjusted)
-New Alternator
-Recharged the A/C system

The Bad (Items to be addressed but things I could live with)
-Check Engine: Peake R5/FCX finds the following fault Codes.
* E0 After Cat oxy sensor slow switching time, Cyl #4-6
* E5 Pre Cat ocy sensor slow response time, Cyl #1-3
-Needs Alignment after doing the suspension work.
-Audio System: I have never had audio in this car. According to the PO the head unit was constantly drawing a charge from the battery whenever the head unit's faceplate was mounted. No status on the any of the speakers (front/sub/rear) but I do know the front door speakers/tweeters are damaged.
-Passenger side mirror corroded from the inside and was held on by tape. I removed it and haven't had time to source a replacement.
-Drivers window regulator/motor has play in it and the window will not go up or down without being assisted.
-Airbag light is on. I tried to diagnose the cause and came to the conclusion that it was the passenger side occupancy sensor because one of the wire connections was bent.
-Interior door panels were removed by PO to troubleshoot drivers window motor. All door plastic mounts inside the door card were saved but most of them are no longer attached to the door panel. They need to be re-glued.
-Leather Interior is in poor condition.
-Headliner is starting to droop in the trunk area.
-Hazard button won't stay on. Sometimes the switch separates.
-Central Locking System: Key tumbler spins on the driver side and the passenger side won't accept the key, however, you can lock and unlock everything from the trunk.

The car will be sold with the the following:
-OEM seats
-OEM style 32's 17x7.5 front & 17x8.5 rear. At some point two of the rims developed cracks and were repaired but should hold air.
-Thule 753 roof rack (optional)

I am available after 3pm Monday to Friday and can make myself available on the weekends if needed. Let me know if you have any questions. I have tried to be as transparent as possible and would like to sell the car soon.

Lots of maintenance and fixes but lots left to do too. The color combo is pretty awesome but it needs lots of TLC. I like how transparent the seller is so you know what you're getting in to. It's also encouraging that he's been using it as a daily driver. The price seems very fair to me.
