Seller Description

Boston Green with Sand Beige interior. Brand new paint in original color! Only 96K miles on this 22-year-old car. 5-speed manual, Rear wheel drive, AC works great, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Cruise Control, AM/FM/Single CD Premium Sound System, Dual Front Air Bags, Dual Power Seats, ABS, DSC, Alloy Wheels, brand new Falken Azenis tires, new lower control arms and bushings, competition brakes, 100% stock. Purchased in 2015 as 3rd owner. Maintained by Schatz & Krum BMW specialists in Sacramento since purchase. Interior is in great condition with no signs of cracking or crazing on the dash or anywhere else. Radio/CD unit works well, plus I added the Grom USB audio jack for using a cell phone and playing audio. I’m including the external CD changer that goes with the system – I never installed it. Engine, suspension, transmission and exhaust system are mechanically excellent. It shifts like Teflon – super smooth. At the last smog check, the technician was pleasantly surprised at the low emissions and said it was the cleanest older BMW he’s tested. Clean California title. Body is in very nice shape – no dents, no accidents – totally straight. The driver’s side inner fender (rubber) came off at one point and the tire wore a hole in it, but it was re-installed with that hole. Hard to find a replacement so I left it as is. Not noticeable unless the car is on a rack or you search for it. The passenger seat has the infamous bushing wear so the bushing should be replaced. Driver’s seat is fine. All in all, a sweet running, great looking example of this classic Z3. I took it off the sale list in order to do the control arms, new main belt tensioner roller and A/C idler roller, and get new tires and then thought about keeping it. But after waffling a bit, it’s back for sale.

Back on the market with fresh paint! Now priced at $14,000 which seems worth it.

Off the market for now. It's getting paint!

It's a bummer about the paint as everything else looks great. I like the color combo too. The price seems very fair to me.
