I have owned this 2000 Z3 Coupe 2.8 since May 2021. I purchased it from a fellow BMW aficionado in Montana. He bought it on impulse at the January 2020 Barrett Jackson Scottsdale, Az auction. The car had 113,201 original miles on it.
During his ownership, he did major brake work, replaced the shocks, front control arms and had a power steering hose and reservoir replaced. Following the purchase of the car, I had it shipped to Virginia.
Late summer 2021, I had the headliner reupholstered which necessitated the windshield to be removed. Later that summer, the local BMW dealer replaced a faulty airbag control unit (at a substantial cost).
In July 2022, front brake calipers were replaced and crankcase vent valve were replaced, and in December 2022, the clutch slave cylinder was replaced.
In 2023, the Z3 made a trip from northern VA to the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance in Florida. Following years it was driven to car shows on the Maryland eastern shore and many local events, getting a ton of attention everywhere it goes.
The car now has 124,+++ miles on it, and is garage kept and/or under a fitted cover.
The color combination, options and sunroof delete makes this example quite unique.
I am selling this car as I am reducing my collection due to space reasons.
