Seller Description

Hi, All. Selling my 1999 BMW Z3 Coupe, otherwise known as the Clownshoe. This Coupe is powered by a 2.8L inline-6 matted to a 5 speed manual transmission. The Coupe holds a clean title, has only 76k original miles, and is in overall great conditions. When purchased several years ago, the vehicle was driven up from LA to WA without any issues.

The Coupe is overall stock with a few OEM+ upgrades and factory options. Notable ones include:

OEM Sport seats
OEM M steering wheel
OEM Z4 “short” shifter
OEM ZHP M shift knob
OEM M light switch knob (rare)
OEM M mirrors
OEM Sport antenna
Ceramic tint (for heat protection, looks clear)
Apex wheels (yellow & black caps included)
Lowering springs & shocks (H&R Sport/Koni Yellow Sport)
Strut tower reinforcement plates
Supersprint Race exhaust (powder coated black)

A majority of receipts and service records have been kept since new and will be included in the sale. These show over $6,000 invested in the last 6k miles. Along with this, several hundred dollars worth of extra, primarily OEM, parts will be included.

A little history, the Clownshoe started its life in the shadows, being secretly developed as a skunkworks project by a team of BMW engineers. A total of 2,071 Z3 Coupes were produced for North America, this one being 1 of 32.

All in all, this Coupe will only appreciate with time and would make a great investment. Not only that, it will be fun to drive too. The price has been reduced to ONLY $21,900 cash (FIRM) for this rare and beautiful vehicle. Located in Yakima, WA. For more info, text/call me.

It looks great and really mean. We last saw it a couple years ago in California. It's in nice shape, but the price seems optimistic for the color combo.
